It has been almost one year since we launched the KiC-Anki website in December 2024! Over the past year, we have provided Parts 1 and 2 of the KiC-Anki Flashcard Deck to anyone who has requested it. We are excited to announce that we have completed Part 3 of the deck and will begin sending it out in the New Year!
With Parts 1 through 3, you can learn to read and write 95% of kanji used in Japanese newspapers. If you master the kanji in these sections, you will have covered over 90% of the kanji that appeared on the old Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT).
We look forward to providing a full deck and, hopefully, YouTube tutorial content as soon as possible. However, due to schedule constraints, it may take another year before we can publish the final four sections of the deck. To all you KiC-Anki devotees, we appreciate your patience as we complete them. We also look forward to a completing a clear, concise, and well-researched KiC-Anki Kanji Primer document that will explain kanji as a concept and further detail the linguistics underpinning the KiC-Anki Method.
